I don't think that "neo-soul" singer/songwriter Dwele got the proper due when his album "Some Kinda" was released late last year.
The 20-something Detroit native Dwele creates a solid soul/R&B album with Some Kinda.
I admit that I wasn't at first feeling it the same way I did with his 2003 debut Subject, but upon revisiting Some Kinda, the 13-track CD (complete with lush Earth, Wind & Fire-inspired production) I've come to realize that the album is soulful mood music from start to finish.
