First I would like to say that I took your review to heart, but let me start by saying that her real name is Keshia Chante Harper, in your article you make it sound like she made up Chante and I know first off because I am n ot only a huge fan but an old teacher.
I have listened to Keshia's album a few times and I must say that for such a young lady in a country that only look up to American Artists the album to me is EXCEPTIONAL, I encourage everyone to go and purchase it.
Now as for her singing ability you obviously have not heard Ms.Chante LIVE.
Well I certainly have, she amazed me then and she continues to amaze me everytime I see her perform.
You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, however I encourage you to study a little more on the artists that you comment on because obviously you have not done your homework on this one.

I truly support talent when I see it and in this case I will continue to support this very deserving young lady.

God Bless

Jess

Hi,

Yes I am aware that is her full name. It wasn't my intention to make it seem otherwise.

And I've actually interviewed Chante and seen her perform live. She's talented and her voice and stage performance has improved over the years.

And I actually hope she's successful because it will open the door for more Canadian-born singers.

Thanks for responding!
